Synopsis
Tahara Mika is an ordinary high school girl. One day, out of the blue, one of her classmates kisses her. His name is Sakurai Hiroki also known as Hiro. Hiro stands out because of his bleached hair and piercing. Apparently he is also dating someone. Mika is shocked and hurt that her first kiss had to happen this way. She desperately tries to forget about it. Then, her friend tells her that she should find somebody else and suggests Tatsuya, another boy in their class. However, before she even realizes it, Mika is already in love... --TBS

This series is short, but great. Do not judge it by its short amount of episodes. Lol course I am guilty of wishing that it was longer, but they do a really good job with the time. It doesn't move to fast despite having only 6 episodes. They do a very smooth job at organizing the series.
The main female star actress does an amazing job. :D She's bursting with talent for a 16 year old. She portrayed Mika very good. Personally, I think all the cast was good.
There is a movie version of Koizora. Some things are a little different but its basically the same thing. I think the series was much better though. Not only because the series goes more into detail but because the movie seem too unrealistic. The cast was waay too pretty that it didnt seem like they fit the story very good. It looked too perfect. The series on the other hand, is much more realistic ^^
The theme song amazes me. Probably now one of my favs. It fits into the story just right. By simply hearing the song, I can remember the feelings of true love all over again. Its a song you definately should listen to. Just like this series is definately something you should watch!
It's a must-see for hopeless romantics. Many people I cried, xD I being one of them of course. What I like is that usually in sad love stories, something happens to the girl and the guy is left telling what happens. This is the exact opposite.
